Linda Faye Pickett died March 13, 2010 at the Medical Center Hospital. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Uchee Chapel AME Church in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Willie James Harley, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be today, Friday, March 19, 2010 from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, according to Taylor Funeral Home.

Ms. Pickett was born August 24, 1959 in Columbus, GA to Rosie L. Pickett Brown of Columbus, GA and the late James Arthur Pickett. She was employed at Enrichment Services Program as an intake worker. She was a member of Uchee Chapel AME Church where she served as a choir member and as 2nd Vice President of the Women's Missionary Society.

She is survived by her mother, Rosie L. Brown of Columbus, GA; one daughter, Shanequa B. Pickett of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Donna Carrizales and Barbara Pickett, both of Columbus, GA; one brother, John Pugh of Columbus, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
