He was born May 3, 1914, in Defiance, the son of William and Sarah (Durham) Linebrink. He married Agnes Knippa, who survives. Founder and former owner of Builder's Display of Austin Inc., he was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Pflugerville Lions Club and the Hump Pilots Association.
Also surviving are a son, Michael, Austin; a daughter. Mrs. Sandy (Patricia) Callahan, Pflugerville; four brothers, Paul, Donald and James of Defiance, and Clarence, Cedar Park; a sister. Evelyn Workman, Oakwood; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents. Services were Feb. 25 in Redeemer Lutheran Church. Revs. David Schroder and Paul Bohot officiated. Burial was in Capitol Memorial Gardens. Cook-Walden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
