OBITUARY :
MRS. THELMA E. BACON, 68, 206 Market St., Highspire, formerly of the Gettysburg area, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, shortly after she was admitted. She had been under a physician's care for some time.

A native of Waynesboro she was a daughter of the late Samuel B. and Jennie C. Cave. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Harrisburg.

Her husband, Harry W. Bacon, died several years ago.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Caroline Shaffer, with whom she resided in Highspire, Mrs. Myrtle Chohany, Gettysburg R. 4, with whom she resided for three years; and Mrs. Minnie Nazario, Harrisburg; two sons, Harry W. Bacon, Jr., Glennen Grove, Calif., and John H. Bacon, Steelton, 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Peters Funeral Home. Interment will be in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. Friends may call at the Peters Funeral Home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Rev. Raymond Fisher, of Christ Lutheran Church, Harrisburg. will officiate at the services.

Funeral services for MRS. THELMA E. BACON, 68, Highspire, who died Monday morning in Harrisburg, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Peters Funeral Home on Carlisle St. Mrs. Bacon formerly resided in the Gettysburg area. The Rev. Raymond Fisher of Christ Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, officiated.

Interment was made in the Burns Hill Cemetery at Waynesboro. The bearers were John Bacon, Harold and William Shaffer, Allen Phillips, Manuel Nazario and George Chohany.
