Adult Film Star, Director. Born James Ira Gurman, he appeared in over 400 adult films spanning a thirty year career. A graduate of Columbia University, he was trained as a legitimate film actor. He began his early career as a New York City cab driver, and appeared in several off Broadway productions before beginning an extensive film career in the adult motion picture industry. He made his motion picture debut in the 1971 film "Love in the Rain."
