GRACE — Blake L Anderson, 22, returned to be with his Heavenly Father on March 15, 2010 at the University of Utah Hospital from complications of a liver transplant he received in 1990.
He was born on November 7, 1987, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Kelly and Wendy Christensen Anderson.
Blake attended school in Grace, graduating from Grace High School with the Class of 2006.
Blake enjoyed golfing, wakeboarding and boating, camping, hunting, fishing, spending time with his brother, cousins and friends. He especially enjoyed going flying with his dad.
Blake is survived by his parents of Grace, Idaho; one brother, Brice, currently serving in the England Birmingham Mission; grandparents, Max and Lois Christensen, Roland and Dianne Anderson of Grace, Idaho; great-grandmother, Phyllis Robbins of Soda Springs, Idaho; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Janis Christensen, an aunt, Jennifer Aragon, and numerous great grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, at noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and then Friday prior to the services from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Primary Children's Medical Center and that in Blake's memory you make the choice to become an organ donor.
Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.
