She was born February 5, 1919 to Charlie and Audie Bell Suttles in Springfield, OH.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Ballanger; daughter, Mae Bell (Reginald) Cousins; four sons, Bobby Ballanger, Tony ( Brenda) Ballanger, Flintstone, GA; Jerry (Minnie) Ballanger and Larry (Norma) Ballanger, both of Chattanooga; two sisters, Henrietta and Lavonia of Chattanooga; brother-in-law, Robert (Alberta) Ballanger, Louisville, KY; three sisters-in-law, Charlie Bell Hamm of Buffalo, NY; Ocie Lee Clark and Thelma Ballanger of Flintstone, GA; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Chandler Chapel Baptist Church, located at 13 Taylor Road in Flintstone, GA 30725.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
Family hour will be Tuesday from 7–8 p.m. at the McCallie Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Directors, (423) 265-4414.
