Philip Michael Flynn, age 62, of Owosso and formerly of Flint, MI passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Gaines, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 16, 2010 from 2-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
Philip was born in Flint, Michigan on July 22, 1947, the son of Richard and Mary Mildred (Smith) Flynn. He was a graduate of Fenton High School. Phil married Teresa Losh on February 11, 2009 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Owosso. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Owosso. He worked for General Motors. Phil enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, traveling, playing bingo and especially going to the casino. Phil lived life well and full.
Phil was preceeded in death by his wife Cheryl Flynn of Owosso, MI, children; Timothy Flynn of Flint, MI, Mike and Nikki Flynn of Linden, MI, Kristina Villasurda of Owosso, MI, Marla Losh and fiance' Jeff Wilcox of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; Ashley Flynn, Jon Villasurda, Michael & Nikolas Tithof and Ava Wilcox, 3 brothers; Bill and Eileen Flynn, Richard Flynn, Donald "Pete" and Dorothy Flynn, 2 sisters; Eileen and Mike Prabucki, Lorraine Lee, and special friend Rod Fowler. Phil was preceded in death by his parents.
