Mr. William "Bill" Hampton
Hampton, William F. ' Bill' - It is with great sadness that the Hampton family announces the passing of William F. Hampton. Loving father, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend. Bill practiced law in Peterborough for over twenty years, was an active Rotarian, and previous Toast Master, volunteer member of the local Habitat for Humanity. He was predeceased by his parents Russ and Jeanne Hampton also of Peterborough, uncle and aunt Les and Elsie Hampton of Winnipeg, sister in law Maureen Hampton of Boulder Colorado. Survived by son Philip, Shari (mother of Philip), sisters Marguerite and Maureen, brothers Jack and Bob, sisters in law Jocelyne, Laurie and Laura, niece Margaret, nephews Geoff, Michael, Steve and Michael, great niece Madeleine and great nephew Jack. He will never be forgotten, always loved and forever missed. Friends may visit COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 7:00 and 9:00 pm on Wednesday March 17, 2010. The funeral service will be held at ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 99 Brock Street, March 18, 2010 at 10:30 am, followed by a reception. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
