Grover C. Buchanan
Grover C. Buchanan, 72, of Radcliff, died Monday, May 17, 2004 at his residence.
He was retired from the Army after 23 years of service which included three tours in Vietnam. He was also retired from Buchanan's Janitorial Services.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cordie Buchanan; two brothers, Woodrow Buchanan and Charles Buchanan; and three sisters, Dorothy Steinhardt, Rosemary Jones, and Jean Brockemyre.
Survivors include his wife, Reba L. Buchanan; three sons, Steve Buchanan and his wife Debbie of Vine Grove, and Danny Buchanan and his wife Karen, and James Buchanan, all of Radcliff; two daughters, Connie Ray and her husband Bud of Radcliff and Robin Phillips and her husband Tom of Ekron; six grandchildren, Bud Ray Jr. and his wife Holly, Jessica Lowery and her husband Steve, Laura Buchanan, Derek Buchanan, Nicole Edelen and Curtis Buchanan; a great-granddaughter, Graysen Lowery; and two sisters, Patricia Phillips and Betty Taulman.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Chaplain Maj. Samuel Cabrera officiating. Burial with military honors will be in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
