DELAND- Mrs. Lillie Viola Bennett, 59, Seville, died at 12:50 a.m. yesterday at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Md., where she had been a patient one month.
Born in Pierson, Mrs. Bennett had been a lifelong resident of West Volusia.
Surviving are her husband, Eddie: four sons, Floyd, Seville: James, Biloxi, Miss.: Lawrence, College, Alaska and Nathan, Crescent City; four daughters, Mrs. Sadie Lee Mew, Crescent City; Mrs. Louise McCullough, Seville; Mrs. Evelyn Strickland, Thomasville, Ga., and Mrs. Wilma Tidwell, Atlanta; a brother, Eddie Rossie; a sister, Mrs. Beulah Sowell, both of Pierson, and 13 grandchildren. Allen Summerhill is in charge.
