Jacob C. Nauman, 76, of Stanley, died Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, where he had been a patient 10 days. He had been in failing health several years.
He was born June 28, 1897 in Page County, and was the son of the late William O. and Carrie Painter Nauman. He was a retired orchard worker and was a member of the Stanley United Methodist Church.
He was married to the former Mary Susan Pence, who predeceased him. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral was conducted Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by the Rev. Orrie Harrison and the Rev. Kenzy Reed.
Burial was in the Weaver family cemetery at Stanley.
