Mrs. Mabel Jewel Armstrong, 73, of Fort Worth died Friday, June 4.
She was born September 9, 1898 and Healdton, OK, the daughter of L.C. and Lucy Clevenger.
The family came to Collingsworth County in 1906, and she was married to Henry Armstrong in 1914 in Wellington. They moved from here 26 years ago and he preceded her in death in 1965.
A son, Buddy Armstrong, was killed in World War II.
Survivors are a son, Albert Armstrong of fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Armstrong of Wellington and Mrs. Anna Rotan of Fort Worth; a brother, Jeff Clevenger of Tulia; and three grandchildren.
