Mr. Prentiss Alton Neuman, 76, formerly of Moss Point, died October 27, 2008 in Sisbee, Texas. Born in Many, LA. on June 7, 1932, Prentiss was the son of Elmer D Neuman and Cora (Davenport) Neuman.
Prentiss served honorably in the United States Navy, was a welder by trade, and lived in the Moss Point and Pascagoula area for many years before moving to Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Neuman and parents.
Prentiss is survived by a daughter, Annie Sue Worley of TN.; sons, Elmer J. (Dee) Neuman of FL. and Ricky Neuman, of TN.; brothers, Elmer (Anna Mae) Neuman of Orange, TX, Edward (Terri) Neuman of Big Point, MS, sisters Joyce (Paul) Duckworth of Moss Point, Ms. and Melva (Archie) Tompkins of Ponchatula, LA. Five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday morning, October 31, 2008, at 10:30 am, in the Chapel Of Coastal Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, Moss Point. Bro. Archie Holley, of The Family Life Church in Moss Point, will officiate.
