DEATH OF AN AGED CITIZEN
MR ISAAC ALESHIRE, an old and highly esteemed citizen of Marksville District (mention of whose illness has been made several times in these columns) died at his home near Leaksville, Wednesday morning, February 22, 1899, in the 70th year of his age. He leaves an aged companion in feeble health. His funeral was preached on Friday morning by Elder T.S. Dalton, of the Old School Baptist Church, of which church Mr. Aleshire had been a member for about twenty years.
