Cause of death - Car Crash
From the Kentucky New Era, Tuesday, October 3, 1939:

Word was received today that Mason Bramham was killed instantly in an automobile accident in Newburg, N. Y.

Mr. Bramham spent his boyhood days in Hopkinsville. His mother, Mrs. Rosie M. Bramham, was one of the best known teachers in the Hopkinsville public school system, and was one of the first teachers at the old Clay Street School.

His remains are to be cremated at the Harton Funeral Home in Newburg and sent to Hopkinsville to be buried by his mother's side.

The Rev. William S. Hill, rector of Grace Church, will conduct the last rites for Mason Bramham, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the grave at Riverside cemetery.

W. G. Bramham, president of the National Association of Professional Baseball League, is a brother, but it is not known at this time if he will be here for the services.
