Gower Couple Married 64 Years:
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Bigham, Gower, Mo., observed their 64th wedding anniversary Feb. 22 with a family dinner. The anniversary date was also the birthday of Mr. Bigham. He was 89. Mrs. Bigham was 83 Feb. 27. They were married at the Agency Union Church. Prior to moving to Gower about 38 years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Bigham resided in St. Joseph and at Agency. They have three children, R. M. Bigham and Mrs. Elsie Smith, both of Gower, and Mrs. Cindy Fry of the home. There are three grandchildren.

Mrs. Dora Bigham
Mrs. Dora Belle Bigham, 85, died Sunday morning at her home near Gower, Mo. She had been ill for some time.
She was born near Agency, Mo., and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She and her husband, James J. Bigham, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last February 20.
She was a member of the Taos, Mo., Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Dowell Smith, Gower, and Mrs. Cinderella Fry of the home.
The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary where services will be held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Paul Brockhausen will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
