Arthur, age 46 of Green River, Wyoming, passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident outside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Arthur was born in Mesa, Arizona, the son of Don and Marlene Gustke, and then spent most of his childhood growing up on the family farm in Half Way. He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1975. Shortly after, in 1977, he was married to Sandra Righter. As a couple, they ventured west to work in the Trona fields of Wyoming. A son was born in 1983 and a daughter in 1986. During this time, Arthur worked at General Chemical, until a lay-off led him to a job with Chevron Chemical. He stayed with Chevron Chemical until early in the spring of 2003.

Arthur and Sandra Gustke were later divorced, and he was remarried to Joann Little in 1992. They were later divorced, and that led him to the late Sherry Siler of Superior, Wyoming. He stood by her side as she fought a long battle to cancer when she died in 2002.

Arthur was always out driving the desert in his '72 Blazer. Most recently, he was always on road trips and spending time with his children. In November 2002, his first grandchild was born, and he made several trips to Las Vegas to spend time with her.

He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, his brother, John Weldon Gustke, and companion Sherry Siler.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Leannda Ruth Gustke of Indian Valley, Idaho; his son, Matthew Gustke and his wife, Adrian, and a granddaughter, Sydnie Alexandra Gustke, all of Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by a sister, Cindy Gustke, and parents, Don and Marlene Gustke of Buffalo.

Inurnment was at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Missouri.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
