Funeral services for Doris cook Webb 66 of Columbia were held Oct 20 at the Colonial Fueral Home Chapel with interment in the Advance Cem., In Lamar Co. She departed this life into eternity on Oct 17. Born 2 Sep 1942 in Moss Point, she was the third child born to William Henry and Bessie Peatrice (Pace) Cook of the Advance community. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, George H. 'Buck' Webb; her parents; two sisters, Virginia alma Cook and Diana Kay (Cook) Vickery; four brothers, Junior Allen 'Man' Emory, James Henry and Robert Bruce Cook; three half sisters, Lola (Cook: Lee Easter (CookP Pace and Mry Lovenia (Cook) Taylor; and four half brothers, Henry T. C., R. Jess, Clasiud John and Benjamin Cook.
Survivors are one surviving, loving sister, Dorothy 'Cookie" Morgan of Columbia; one son, Steven Michal Webb of University; Four daughters, Sandra Dianne Webb of Sumbrall, Patricia Darlene (David) Moore of String, Tx; Shelia Lynn (Robbie 'Hot-Rod') Pruitt of Oxford,; 17 faithful and loving friends.
Rev. Mike Frenn officiatedthe service with assistance by Rev. Valton Douglas, Sr. She was a member of North Columbia Baptist Churcn and resided at the Mrytles Apartments.'
Music was provided my Mry Elizabeth Sturdivant as the organist accompanied by a chose selection of CDs.
Pallbearers were Jason Samuel Smith, Richard Dale Richrdson and Albert Morgan.
Colonial Funeral Home of Columbia, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
