Col. Ira Edgar Ryder, 76, 1741 Via Genoa, Winter Park, died Thursday. Born in Lakeland, he moved to Winter Park 15 years ago. He was a retired U.S. Army colonel, a member of the Winter Park Presbyterian Church and the University Club. Survivors: widow, Dorothy; brother, Cecil, Hollywood, Fla. Cox-Parker Funeral Home will send the body to Arlington National Cemetery for service and interment.
