Funeral services for George Hicks, 82, of Conroe will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10:00 am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Maddoux officiating. Entombment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery's Chapel in the Park Mausoleum. Mr. Hicks was born August 16, 1927 in Baytown, Texas and passed away on March 1, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ailene Hicks, and brother, Austin Earl Hicks. He survived by his son, Ron Hicks and Alex of Montgomery; grandchildren, Rachele Gressett and husband Bryan of Argyle and Brittany Hicks of Montgomery; great grandchildren, John M. Slaga and Brooke Gressett, both of Argyle; brothers, Gene and Norma Hicks of Crosby and Roy and Margie Hicks of Newton. Numerous other friends and relatives also survive.
