Cleora Blanche Arnell, 1921-2008

Cleora passed away at her home on Sept. 15, 2008 after suffering a second stroke.

She was born July 23, 1921 to Chester E. Durant and Alice Cleora Wolford in New Castle, PA. She moved with her family to Logan, Utah at the age of five. She was raised and received her education in Logan. She was the oldest child and was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Edward and Vernal and her sister, Violet. She is survived by her sister Joyce Bate (Craig) of Salt Lake City.

Cleora met her sweetheart Edwin and they were married July 26, 1941. Cleora was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and converted Edwin. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on their 15th anniversary. They were privileged to serve three missions for the Church and were ordinance workers in the Ogden Temple. She served in numerous Ward and Stake callings.

Cleora, better known as Clee, will be remembered for her hand-dipped chocolates. She worked as a bank teller and also as a book keeper. Clee is survived by her husband, Edwin, three son, Lon (Connie deceased), Jerel (Eileen), Clay (Launa), 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, all living in the area.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday Sept. 18, 2008 at the Roy Fourth Ward Chapel, 5300 South 2100 West in Roy.
Interment will be at the Roy City Cemetery.
