First wife was Mary Caroline (or Maria Carolina?) Bernasconi of Columbia, SC. They had a son D.F. Antonelli, Jr. (Nick). Mary died at a young age.

Funeral services were held yesterday in Washington, D. C. for Dominic Franklin Antonelli, former manager of the McAlester National Bank Italian division. He died June 16 after a six-month illness.

Rev. Monganaro of Holy Rosary church officiated at services. Burial, with full military honors, was in the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Antonelli was the son of the late Paul and Victoria Antonelli of Alderson and McAlester. He worked for the McAlester bank from 1919 until 1926.

Born July 29, 1892, in Comabbio, Italy, he came to this country with his parents in 1895. He was educated at St. Ann's Academy for Boys, Fort Smith, Ark., and also attended McAlester College of Business and Accountancy.

A veteran of World War I, Antonelli enlisted at Hartshorne in May, 1918, and received his discharge December, 1918, at Camp Jackson, S. C. At that time he was a sergeant in Headquarters Company, Ninth Regiment, Field Artillery Replacement Depot. He was a member of the American Legion, associated with National Cathedral Post Number 10 in Washington, D. C.

After serving in McAlester, Antonelli was employed by the Bank of America in Los Angeles, California. He worked there from 1927 until 1930. He was a linguist, speaking Italian, French and Spanish.

He went to Washington in 1930, where he engaged in various business enterprises. He was president of the Capitol Food Company and headed the Choctaw Brokerage Co. there from 1940 until 1950. From 1930 until 1940 Antonelli worked in the collection department of Rinaldi coal company and of Franc Jewelry Stores. At time of his death he operated a parking lot business in Washington.

Surviving relatives include the wife, of the home; one son, Dominic F. Antonelli, Jr., Washington, D. C.; three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Cortassa, Henryetta, Mrs. Tillie Barone, Krebs, and Mrs. Albertina Bernasconi, Columbia, S. C.; and two brothers, James Antonelli, McAlester, and Charles Antonelli, Alderson. Two grandchildren also survive.
