PALM DESERT, Calif. —
Alice Williams, 86, Palm Desert, Calif., passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Alice moved to Palm Desert, Calif. in 1962 with her family and resided there until her death.
Alice was born to Louis Joseph Regnier and Eileen (Sullivan) Regnier on Feb. 13, 1924, in Kankakee, Illinois. Growing up, Alice lived in Chicago, in the St. Columbanus Parish. Her mother, Eileen Regnier, was a long-time resident of Wenona, Illinois until her death in 1995.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph, after 62 years of marriage,
and her children,
Susan,
Gregory (Kelli),
and Donna Williams;
and her much-loved grandchildren,
Gina (Carion) Young,
Jason,
Ryan,
Robert,
and Christian (Carla) Williams.
Alice loved her great-grandchildren with all of her heart,
Brittany and Kylie Williams,
Riley and Ronan Young
and Timothy Stange.
Alice counted her nephew, John (Jane) Richards,
and his children, Matthew and Joey of Palm Desert, as part of her immediate family since they were so close.
Also surviving are sisters,
Violet Regnier,
and Ellen (Jim) Richards of Chicago Heights,
and Catherine "Tink" (Denny) Connell of Streator;
brother,
Donald (Helen) Regnier of Peoria;
and many nieces and nephews.
Brothers preceding her in death were
Gregory and Louis Regnier.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palm Desert. All California Cremations, Palm Springs, assisted the family.
