Edith Frances Clark, 92, formerly of Hershey, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, in Manor Care, Lebanon. She was born April 18, 1917, in W. Hanover Twp., Dauphin Co., a daughter of the late William L. and Edith F. (Hershey) Allen. Mrs. Clark was a retired employee of the Hershey Chocolate Corp. She was a member of the First United United Methodist Church in Hershey and a former member of the former Manada Hill United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Chocolate Workers Local #464. Surviving are a son, Paul D. Clark and his wife, Eileen of Hummelstown; two granddaughters, Jennifer Best and her husband, Robert of Palmyra, and Janelle Clark and her fianc", Wesley Orris of Hummelstown; two greatgranddaughters, Abbey and Samantha Kraling of Palmyra; a brother, William F. Allen of Mechanicsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Clark; a son, Kenneth R. Clark; and a brother, John M. Allen. Services will be held Monday, March 1, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Ave., in Hershey. A visitation will be held in the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Love, Inc., c/o First United Methodist Church, 64 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, PA 17033.
