Daughter of Richard Tubb and Emma Parry. The following was copied from a bible owned by Mr. Fred Webb of Los Angeles, California: "This is the bible I studied in school in England. My name, Lavinia Eleanor-Clark Tubb. I came to the Unites States of America in October 1887 at the age of 17 years, lived in Ashtabula, Ohio for 15 years (1887-1902) came to Los Angeles, California and lived here for 38 years up to 1940, was married to William Clarke in Salt Lake City, Utah. Was married October 30, 1905." There is another single entry "Lavinia Eleanor Tubb, March 7, 1881" and yet another entry reads as follows: "This bible was picked up on an abandoned sailing vessel by my father Richard Tubb during the Russian war between England and Russia when he was in that war. I, Lavina Tubb Clarke used this bible in school Chepstow, Mornenshire, Wales, England." She died in Los Angeles at the age of 73 years 7 months 10 days. She was buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery on July 7, 1944.
