Alma Ramona Agard passed away peacefully on February 21, 2010 in San Ramon with her loving children at her side. She resided at 7355 Hillsdale Drive in Pleasanton, California at the time of her death.


Alma was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on October 8, 1928. She was retired from the International Harvester Credit Corporation and Toyota Motor Credit.


She was a devoted and active member of the Catholic Churches of Pleasanton. Until her health declined, she worked for the City of Pleasanton as the Theatre Manager for the Amador Theatre of Civic Arts. She was a long-time Raider fan.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kaminski, in 1980. She is survived by three sons; Alex (Diane), Raymond and George all of Pleasanton, two daughters; Katherine Agard of Sacramento and Mona (Anthony) Hunley of Fairfield, she is also survived by her four grandchildren; Jeff (Marlene), Brian, Robert, and Katie Agard, and two great-grandchildren Marissa and Jeffery Carlos.


Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 7:00-8:00 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7:45 p.m., in St. Augustine's Catholic Church 3999 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton. A Funeral Mass will celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in St. Augustine's.
Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens, 3873 East Avenue, Livermore.
