Harry Reed Sr.
North - Harry Reed Sr., 72, husband of Mrs. Virginia Livingston Reed, died May 17, 1986. Born in Orangeburg County, he was a son of the late Stanmore Judson and Mary Rebecca Pou Reed. He was a retired grocery clerk and was a member of First Baptist Church of North, where he was organizer and a member of the Kinlaw Bible Class. Surviving in addition ' to his wife; are two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Angus (Sylvia Ann) Hoffman of Gordonsville, Va. [children: Andy & Jeffery Hoffman] and Mrs. H.O. [Hammon O'Cain] (Mary Beth) Carter of Johnston [children: Cynthia Elaine and Freddie Reed Carter]; a son, Harry M. Reed Jr. of Orangeburg [m. Sandra Jean Bolin, children: Harry M. Reed, III and Robin Loujean Reed]; two sisters, Mrs. Steve (Mary) Bonnette of Cayce and Mrs. H.L. (Bunky) Berry of Swansea; and grandchildren. Services were at 4 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of North. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Culler Funeral Home was in charge.
