Our mother and sister, Marguerite "Peg" H. Anderson, 86, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, slipped away early the morning of Feb. 13, 2010. She was born June 19, 1923, to Bathurst Craven and Annie Dodson Huntington, in Occaquan, Fairfax County, Va., and was a 41-year resident of Nevada. Bat and Annie had nine children; Peg was their ninth. Peg married Col. John F. Anderson (deceased) in October 1955, and they had a daughter, Sharon. Peg was a military wife and proud to contribute to her country and community. She was a member of the Mesquite Club for many years. Peggy was an avid golfer, bowler, reader and crossword wizard. She was always talkative about current topics and politics. She loved her home and was proud to call Las Vegas home. Our very special thanks to Ruth E. White for her loving care of Mom. God Bless you and yours Ruth.

Peg was preceded in death by her father, Bathurst; mother, Annie; and seven of her nine siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon; sisters, Mary Freear and Ruth Wiggins; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
