May 23, 1960: Benjamin F. Ank, 46, died Sunday at his home in Feather Falls. A native of Feather Falls, he was born May 2, 1914. He was a veteran of World War II army services.

Survivors include three sons, Benjamin F. Ank, Jr., Richard Ank, and Robert M. Ank, all of Oroville; one brother, Lowell Ank of Feather Falls; six sisters, Mrs. Mildred Pevy and Mrs. Ravena Lonsberry, both of Oroville, Mrs. Iamma Elam of Feather Falls, Mrs. Norabelle Brinsky and Mrs. Rozella McGray, both of Sacramento and Mrs. Rubinia Hugi of Grass Valley.

Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mooretown Cemetery at Feather Falls, the Rev. Mr. Robert John, pastor of Oroville First Christian Church officiating. Hamilton and Riley Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
