Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17 at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel. Interment will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rumley was born in Guilford County on April 6, 1966. She worked as a dialysis technician and enjoyed reading, fishing and gardening, especially her flowers. She had a kind spirit and was always considerate of others. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister with a strong faith and never gave up.
Mrs. Rumley is survived by her husband, Robert Rumley; sons, Andrew Michael Goad and wife Haleigh, Matthew Harrison Rumley; parents, Clifford and Wanda Lewis; sisters, Lisa Kellam and husband Ted of Burlington, Tina Turner and husband Charles of Liberty, Wendy Willien and husband Kelly of Pleasant Garden; mother-in-law, Doris Rumley; the upcoming birth of her first grandson; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
