Doris K. Lentz, the former Doris K. Ortt, 79, of Westmont, IL, formerly of Quakertown died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at her residence.

Born in Palmerton, PA on June 20, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Youse) Lentz. Being of the Catholic faith, she had been a member of St. Isodore's R.C. Church in Quakertown and St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Limeport, PA. She is a 1954 graduate of Haff Hospital Nursing School. Doris worked as an LPN at Quakertown Hospital, Quakertown, PA; Santa Monica Hospital Medical Center and St. John's Hospital, both Los Angeles, CA, several nursing homes in PA and for Dr. Ellis and Dr. Phillips, Quakertown, PA. She was also an Avon lady and Tupperware hostess.

Survivors: Daughters, Christine O. wife of Richard C. Shollenberger Jr. of Elmhurst, IL and Kathleen M. wife of David J. Folenta of Hellertown; and 4 Grandchildren, Emily Folenta, Matthew Folenta, Victor Shollenberger and Calvin Shollenberger.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9 - 10 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown, followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
