Bonnie G. Bailey, 59, of 31 Hudson St, died at the Bath Memorial Hospital Tue morning, following an illness of about four years. He was admitted to the hospital Mon evening.

He was born in Wheeler, Mar 21, 1888, the son of Elmer and Minnie Early Bailey.

The deceased was a farmer in Hammondsport, R.D. 1 until ill health forced him to retire. For the past two years he has served as a janitor of the Bath Centenary Methodist church. He was a member of the South Pulteney Grange.

Survivors include his widow, the former Mrs. Nellie Whitford Bailey; his father, Elmer Bailey of Bath; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Ellis of Hammondsport and Mrs. Arline Cragg of Bath; two brothers, Ray E. Bailey of Roslin and Walter Bailey of Hammondsport, several uncles and aunts.

The body was removed to the Waldo Funeral Home where prayer services will be held Fri at 2 pm. Final rites will be conducted from the Bath Centenary Methodist Church at 2:30 pm. The Rev. Arthur Rehme, pastor will officiate. Burial will be made in the Nondaga Cemetery, Bath.
