SHELBY - Mrs. Annie Edith Lance Bryson, 83, of Delmar Road, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at Hospice Cleveland County.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1926, in Henderson County, to the late Harold Crawford Lance and Annie Edith Hare Lance. She was a member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne Bryson; and her step mother, Eva Page Lance.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Bryson Helms and husband, Melvin, of Kings Mountain and Shirley Bryson McMurry and husband, David, of Lattimore; brothers, Ronald Lance and Robert Lance of Fletcher; sisters, Selma Cairnes of Mills River and Joyce Neal of Mountain Home; sister-in-law, Bobbie Bryson of Fletcher; her loving grandchildren, Julie Beeson and husband, Donny, of Kings Mountain, Karen Hollingsworth and husband, Tim, of Waynesville, Chris Helms and fiancée, Chenoa, of Belmont and Joey McMurry and Ashley of Lattimore; her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Christina, Kasey, Avery, Kaitlin and Joshua; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends in her neighborhood.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 16, 6 to 8 p.m., at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory.
The family will be at the home of Judy Helms, 4834 Barrett Road, Kings Mountain.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1 p.m., Christian Freedom Baptist Church
