Mrs. Violet Stillwagon Phillips, 48 years old, died Sunday morning at her home at Lambert. Surviving are her husband, Paul Arthur Phillips, and these children: Carl, Everett, Robert and Eleanor at home, Joseph H. of the Army in New York, Mrs. William Ashton of Hogwood, Mrs. Howard Gilpin of Grier, W. Va., and Paul, Jr., of Continental. She was a sister of Rev. C. A. Nicols, returned missionary from Africa, Mrs. Nora Crowe of Point Marion, Mrs. Fern Graham of Lake Lynn and Ernest, Sylvester and George Stillwagon of Point Marion. She was the daughter of Harry Stillwagon of Connellsville.
A brief funeral service swill be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home with additional rites at 3:30 o'clock at Church Hill Church in charge of Rev. A. J. McCloy. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
