Eva M. Rule, 83, died Friday December 29, 1989 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.

Services at the First Presbyterian Church in Olney with Rev. David A. McNabb officiating. Burial in Van Voorhis Cemetery in Hindsboro.

Miss Rule was born September 8, 1906 in Decker Township, the daughter of Karl and Ida (Daughtery) Rule.

She worked for 55 years for the Olney Sanitarium Clinic and the Weber Medical Clinic as administrator and office manager. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Olney and served as an elder and treasurer there for 25 years.

She graduated from Olney Township High School and attended Utterback Business College. She was a member of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

Survivors include four nieces, Naomi Ellison, Rockville, Md.; Marjorie Miles, Waldorf, Md.; Gloria Danahy, Lantana, Fla.; and Carol Randall, Lanham, Md.; and two close friends, Nadeena Tuttle and Werdna Porter, both of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank Rule.
