Mrs. Sarah Arnold died of puerperal fever and consumption at home here, 2 a.m., Sunday Dec. 11.
Daughter of late Richard Brooks who was the oldest citizen of Doniphan at the time of his death in 1886. Born in Doniphan Sept. 14, 1856. Married first William Williams Dec 1874, he died the fall of 1887. In summer 1891, she married George W. Arnold.
Leaves 5 children, 4 by first marriage and 1 by second marriage, a babe only 2 weeks old. Member of C P. Church. Buried from church at new cemetery.
