William H. Bartholomew enlisted at the age of 20 on 8 Dec 1861 as a Private for the State of Ohio and survived the war. He enlisted in Company B, Ohio 2nd Cavalry Regiment on 12 Aug 1861. Mustered out on 21 Feb 1863.
