Glen E. Schmidlap, age 62, of Madison, passed away at 1:30 am Wednesday, March 28, 1990 at the Veterans Hospital, Louisville, Ky.
Born September 28, 1927 in Kent, Indiana, he was the son of William C. and Ruth Barron Schmidlap. He was preceded in death by his father, William Schmidlap in 1951, and his brothers, William Jr., in 1926 and Clarence in 1919.
Mr. Schmidlap was retired from the former Conn Organ Company, Madison. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and was a charter member of Resurrection Lutheran Church of Madison.
Survivors include his wife, Fredalynne (Daubenbis) Schmidlap, Madison, two daughters, Anne Marie Schmidlap Gibson (married to Timothy Gibson) and Ruth Elizabeth Schmidlap Willis (married to Geoff Willis). Three sons, Edward David Schmidlap, John Frederick Schmidlap (married to Vickie Huttsell) and Roger Paul Schmidlap.
