Services for Mrs. Lucy Margaret Alexander, 77, of 411 Lee, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Alexander died at 4 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Ga., of a heart attack. She was visiting her daughter in Roswell, Ga., at the time of the heart attack.

She came to Borger in 1938; she and her husband opened the J.C. Penney Store, which they operated for 17 years. The family then moved to Naples, Fla., where they operated Alexanders Department Store for 17 years.

She had moved back to Borger four years ago.

Mrs. Alexander was born Nov. 10, 1901, in Ames, Iowa. She was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Jim Alexander of Pampa and Jerry Alexander of Naples, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Landry of Roswell, Ga.; four brothers, Albert Wilcox, Houston; Roscoe Wilcox, Ruidoso, N.M.; Harold Wilcox of Corpus Christi; and Leo Wilcox of Borger; three sisters, Mrs. Neva McGregor of Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Lola Temples and Mrs. Cleo Minton, both of Borger.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.
