MARYVILLE, Mo. - Eva Marie Barnes, 91, of Maryville, passed away February 11, 2010, at Golden Living Care Center Maryville.
She was born July 18, 1918, in Hanna City, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Nellie (Hurst) Rosecrans.
Marie graduated from Hopkins High School, Hopkins, Mo., in the class of 1936.
She married David Carl Barnes, August 27, 1936, in Peoria, Ill.
A homemaker, Mrs. Barnes was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Maryville and the LAW Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Barnes (December 15, 1999); her parents; a brother, Earl Rosecrans; and a sister, Eula Mae Rosecrans.
Survivors include her daughters: Joyce and Paul Kerber, Lee's Summit, Mo.; Norma and Paul Shea, Amelia, Ohio; a son, Kenneth and Nancy Barnes, Maryville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, February 15, the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. Burial is in Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, Mo.
