LIPAN - Paulette Howell, 87, died Tuesday, January 26, 1999, at a Granbury hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Lipan. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan.

Paulette Howell was born August 23, 1911, in Lipan. She moved to Brownfield for several years and worked for General Telephone until her retirement.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Lodge in Lipan.

Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Howell, and a daughter, Gretta Ailshie, both of Brownfield.

Survivors: Sons, James Addison and his wife, Lucy, of Lipan and Teddy Howell and his wife, Vickie, of Porter; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
