"During the four years he served as county treasurer, Mr. Tucker made his headquarters in Frank Snuggs' furniture store and helped in the store when he wasn't on business for the town. He recalls that his accounts were never one penny off throughout his tenure in office."

He was active in the Masons in his earlier years.
