The former Anita Cantrill was born on September 9, 1924, in Norway, the daughter of the late Roy Cantrill and Irene (LaJeunese) Cantrill.
Anita married Ernest Beckstrom on September 30, 1942 in Norway. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1981.
Anita loved children and provided childcare for over 3 decades taking care of Norway children two at a time.
She was a lifelong faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church, and very active in the Church activities, enjoyed singing with the Bible Class and for many years sent the Upper Room to college kids and soldiers.
Anita was an avid gardener, Packer fan, Cubs fan and enjoyed traveling the world including visiting her brother Billy's grave in Normandy, France.
She was an adored mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be sadly missed.
Anita was survived by her son William (June Maynard) Beckstrom of Norway; daughters Lois Zember of Menasha, WI., Betty Scott of Woodbridge, VA and Lucy (Geoff) Blethyn of Sturgeon Bay, WI; grandchildren Tracy (Mike) Doede, Melissa (Keith) Johnson, Joe (Tracy Tran) Zember, Cherish (Bill) Nelson, John (Lea) Nanney, Eric Maynard, Rebecca (Shaun) Keeling, Neil (Randa) Blethyn and Jamie Blethyn; 13 great grandchildren; brother Ron (Peggy) Cantrill of Chicago, IL; sister Alice (Wesley) Perket of Menasha, WI; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Margie Winkler, Nancy Bal and Mary Ann Krauss.
