FUNERAL RITE CONDUCTED FOR MRS. CROSBY

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Oak Harbor Chapel for Mrs. S. S. Crosby, who died Sunday night at the White Acres Rest Home. The Rev. Henry Attenborough officiated. Death followed a long illness.

Interment at the Maple Leaf Cemetery followed the services.

Mrs. Roy Troyer and Mrs. Ray Love, accompanied by Mrs. Dell Bryson, at the piano, sang "The Lord is my Shepherd" and "In the Garden".

OBITUARY

Carrie Olive Wyatt was born in Carmi, Illinois, July 4, 1876. She was married in 1895 and one daughter was born, Merle Marie.

She came west in 1901 and was married to Seth Crosby, May 22, 1902. To this union, one daughter was born, who is now Mrs. Eugenia Wardenaar.

Mrs. Crosby raised two sons of her daughter Merle; Joel Raymond Young and Lee Arnold Dawson.

She is survived by her husband, S. S. Crosby, a daughter H. Eugenia Wardenaar, two grandsons, and two great grandsons. Mrs. Crosby was predeceased by her daughter Merle Marie Dawson, grandson Phillip Arthur Dawson and grandson Lee Arnold Dawson.
