KINGS MOUNTAIN Mr. Ronald Ron-Boy Allen, 39, of 108-1 Ezra Road, formerly of Casar, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, at 106 Old Stagecoach Road, Lawndale.
A native of Cleveland County, he was born Nov. 17, 1964. He formerly worked for the Nissan dealership in Shelby and attended Trinity Church of the Living God in Kings Mountain.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hugh Allen; a brother, Thurman Allen; and a sister, Ann Ledbetter.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary Ledbetter and Pete Swafford of Shelby; a daughter, Christy Allen of Shelby; a daughter, Amanda Edwards of Kings Mountain; a brother and sister-in-law, Hugh Lee and Tammy Allen of Kings Mountain; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Barbara Allen of Shelby; a brother and sister-in-law, John Paul and Lisa Allen of Casar; five sisters, Bunie Boheler of Bostic, Vangie Ledbetter, Pauline Lankford and Barbara Jo Mauney, all of Shelby, and Alberta Hoppes of Ellenboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with Cynthia Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home.
