Deceased Name: DANIEL B. ZINCK, 20 MARINE KILLED IN 'COPTER CRASH

A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Jeremiah's Church, Framingham, for Marine Lance Cpl. Daniel B. Zinck, 20, who was killed with 17 other Marines in a helicopter crash March 24 in South Korea.

They were taking part in a US-South Korean military maneuver called Team Spirit 84.

Cpl. Zinck will be buried with full military honors in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.

Born in Framingham, he attended Framingham North High School where he was captain of the football and lacrosse teams in his senior year. He joined the Marines in October 1981.

He leaves his wife, Angela M. (Kopas) Zinck of Framingham; his father, Earl H. Zinck Jr., a Framingham patrolman, and his mother, Carol (Brennan) Zinck of Framingham; two brothers, Timothy J., stationed with the Navy in Honolulu, and Thomas F. of Marlborough; his paternal grandparents, Earl H. and Mary (Topham) Zinck Sr. of Hudson; his maternal grandmother, Frances (Higgins) Brennan of Hyattsville, Md.; his stepmother, Paula M. (Musgrave) Zinck of Framingham; a niece, aunts, uncles and cousins.
