Lifetime Palo Alto County resident Mrs. Lyle (Wilma Jane) Kuhn of Rodman died Friday, May 19, 1978, at University Hospital in Iowa City. She was 55.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kuhn were held Monday, May 22, at 1:30 p.m. from Martin-Bails Funeral Home in Emmetsburg. The Rev. Erling Hansen officiated over services. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Darrel Wickman, Dean Wickman, Ronald Wickman, Merv Wickman, John Wickman and Larry Wickman.
Wilma Jane (Wickman) Kuhn was born Oct. 4, 1922, in West Bend, the daughter of John and Minnie (Doty) Wickman. She graduated from Rodman High School in 1940.
On Dec. 14, 1940, Wilma Jane and Lyle Kuhn were married at Fairmont, Minn. She was a lifetime resident of Palo Alto County.
Surviving are her husband, Lyle; three children, Mrs. Milton (Barbara) Diveney, Jr., of Conesville, Mrs. Gerald (Ronda) Myers of Emmetsburg and Miss Sue Kuhn of Rodman; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Vernon (Evelyn) Jenserj of Phoenix, Ariz.
Mrs. Kuhn was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Marcia; and one brother, Ralph Wickman.
