Funeral services for Richard J. (Dick) Day, age 65, of Needville, will be held on Thursday, November 9, 1995, at 4 p.m. at the Needville United Methodist Church. Friends may visit at the Needville United Methodist Church until 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 9. Interment will follow at West Gethsemane Cemetery in Rosenberg. The Reverend David Foster will officiate at the service.
Mr. Day was born on April 6, 1930 in New Jersey, and he passed away on November 7, 1995 in Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor Day.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Day; four sons, Kevin Day and his wife, Sue, Bryan Day and his wife, Connie, Ricky Day and his wife, Christie, and Cecil McClenan, Jr.; five daughters, Laura Cobb and her significant other, Donna Upton, Susan Cobb Gorham and her husband, Tim, Crystal Kopycinski and her husband, Roger, Bealinda Wiley and her husband, Bobby, and Brenda Martin and her husband, Mike; one sister, Shirley Jackson; eleven grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Mary Jane Day.
