FRANCES BELL HARNEY, age 82, Morning Glory Road, Cynthiana, died Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Mason County, April 2, 1927, to the late Albert William and Allene Parsons Bell, she was a homemaker and a member of Millersburg First United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brunker L. Harney.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann (Ralph, Jr.) Howard, Hazard; a son, William L. "Bill" (Pat W.) Harney, Millersburg; a sister, Margaret Ann (Phillip) Rosser, Mason County; two nieces, Kathy Harney, Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Patti Harney, Chicago, Illinois and a nephew, Steve (Sallie) Rosser, Carmel, Indiana.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Hatchett. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
