Fairmont---At 4:30 on Sunday afternoon at Prevatte Funeral Home in Fairmont, a funeral service was held for Charlie Bass, 77, who died Thursday at his home in Lumberton.
The last rites were conducted by his pastor, Rev. A.P. Stephens, and interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery.
The survivors include the widow, Mrs. Jennie Herring Bass; four sons and three daughters.
Linda Christenburg Moody Brown shared all of the information, the obituary and the pictures of Charlie and Jennie, who are Linda's grandparents on her mother's side. The picture of their headstone was also shared by their granddaughter, Linda.
